I began my VFX career in 1999 at POP Film in Santa Monica, after securing an internship while I was at University in the UK. I first became a VFX supervisor at Zoic Studios in 2015.

Why Create OpenBID?

I must have broken down and bid way over one hundred shows. I was so frustrated by the endless struggle with clunky Excel® and FileMakerPro® templates. Each in-house system revealed a new maze of gotchas, lacking collaboration, undo options, and any modern form of version history. This frustration led me to release my own set of bidding templates that I had been using myself for over 15 years. Designed with privacy and collaboration in mind, and developed on a neutral third party platform (Google Sheets®).
